How to Play
One clip. Two answers. Six turns. Same puzzle for everyone.
The goal
Every day there's one real All-22 clip. Name two things about it: the offensive pass concept and the defensive coverage. The point isn't to follow the ball — it's to read the whole picture: route distribution, leverage, safety rotation, who carries whom.
Turns
Your first watch is free. After that you have six turns, and every turn costs the same no matter what you spend it on:
- Guess Offense — pick a pass concept
- Guess Defense — pick a coverage
- Rewatch — the same clip, same angle, again
Rewatching is a real decision, not a freebie. A second look costs you exactly what a guess costs.
What the colors mean
- 🟩 Green — exact match. That side is solved.
- 🟨 Yellow — right family, wrong specific answer. You'll get a coaching point telling you what visually separates the two, so your next guess is a read and not a coin flip.
- ⬜ Grey — different family. No clue given.
Families group concepts and coverages that look alike on film — for example, Cover 3 Sky and Cover 3 Buzz are the same family, so guessing one when the other is the answer earns a yellow. Cover 0 stands alone: it's either exactly right or grey.
Ending the game
The game ends when you've solved both sides or used all six turns. Either way you see both answers, both coaching points, and a shareable grid like 👁️🟨🟩🟨🟩 showing the order you used your turns — 👁️ for a rewatch. Replays are free once it's over, so you can go back and actually see the thing you missed.
Streaks
Your streak goes up on any day you solve both sides within six turns. Days roll over at midnight Eastern, so everyone is on the same puzzle at the same time. Streaks are stored on your device — no account needed. Archive puzzles are open to everyone and never affect your streak.
